PURPOSE: A WIG craft using an air pocket and a takeoff and landing method thereof are provided to reduce resistance of water when the WIG craft is take off to thereby decrease fuel consumption. CONSTITUTION: A WIG craft(100) using an air pocket for improve takeoff and landing performance includes a body(110), a wing(120), an unfolding unit(130), and an injection unit(140). The wing is installed symmetrically based on the body. The unfolding unit is installed at the bottom of the wing. When expansion air is injected into the unfolding unit, the unfolding unit is expanded to form the cross section of a base loop shape so as to be unfolded downward. The injection unit is installed at the bottom of the wing. The injection unit injects air to a direction facing the surface of water in an area limited by the unfolding unit.
