PURPOSE: A method for processing the surface of a crystalline silicon substrate is provided to improve the reliability and reproduction of a process by using acid aqueous solutions at a low temperature in a first surface processing stage.;CONSTITUTION: A silicon substrate is processed by slicing a silicon ingot with a wire saw(S10). An unevenness is formed on the surface of the silicon substrate(S20). A pn junction structure is formed on the silicon substrate(S30).
