PURPOSE: A xylanase isolated from Cellulosimicrobium funkei HY-13 is provided to decompose saccharide substrate containing xylan in high activity at neutral and basic pH concentration.;CONSTITUTION: A xylanase has: 42 kDa molecular weight on a SDS-PAGE; 4.49 of pl value; and maximum activity at pH 5-pH 9 and 55°C. The xylanase contains endo-β-1,4-xylanase, GH10(glycoside hydrolase family 10) domain, Fn3 domain, and CBM2(carbohydrate-binding module2) domain. The xylanase is derived from Cellulosimicrobium funkei HY-13(deposit number KCTC 11302BP).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
