摘要

PURPOSE: A damage detecting method of a structure using the vibration power is provided to detect the local damage of a structure by evaluating and comparing the vibration power of a structure before and after damage.;CONSTITUTION: A damage detecting method of a structure using the vibration power is as follows. A sensor detects the changes of the flow and the intensity of the vibration power on a damaged part. A damage index is used as an analysis technique for predicting the damaged position. The damage index satisfies a given equation when the mechanical force is recognized. In case of a 1D structure, such as a beam, four accelerometers are used as a set to evaluate the vibration power from the measured vibration acceleration. In case of a 2D structure, such as a flat panel, eight accelerometers are used as a set.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
