CONSTITUTION: An SiC/C/SiO2 composite powder comprises a beta phase silicon carbide(-SiC/C) powder, a carbon powder produced by pyrolysis of carbon source, and silica powder left in a unreacted state after the reaction of liquid silicon and carbon source.
