PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a tally image so as to restore a desired image on the basis of the tally image printed on a tally sheet, display the tally image on a display device and overlaps the displayed tally image with a tally image printed on a tally sheet so as to restore a desired image. SOLUTION: The electronic tally apparatus of this invention includes a tally image creation section 13 for electronically creating a plurality of tally images single each of which cannot recognize prescribed information but which allow recognition of the prescribed information when they are overlapped with each other, a display device 2 for displaying any of a plurality of the tally images created by the image creation section 13 on its screen, and a printer 3 for printing tally images other than the tally image displayed on the display device 2 among a plurality of the tally images created by the image creation section 13 on a transparent print medium.
