PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately notify information on landmarks which change every moment and are useful for a driver.;SOLUTION: A landmark element determination section 15 sets adjacent areas of a destination and the present position of a vehicle from route information as a search range for searching for landmarks and calculates an appearance element Vd, a meaning element Sd, and a position element Ld on the basis of the decision results of the traveling direction of the vehicle. An importance determination section 16 calculates the importance Id of landmarks within the search range on the basis of the appearance element Vd, the meaning element Sd, and the position element Ld and selects a landmark having the largest calculated importance value to be a landmark to be presented.
