PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time space analysis method in which a time function is normalized within a range of [0,1], and in which it is guaranteed that distortion in a whole section becomes a minimum.;SOLUTION: A time space matrix A and a time function F are calculated by analyzing a time sequence signal Y by using nonnegative matrix factorization and dynamic programming, under constraint that ai,k is nonnegative, fk(t) is nonnegative when tk-1≤t≤tk+1, and fk(t)=0 when 1≤ttk-1 and tk+1t≤T, and fk(t)+fk-1(t)=1 at any time t, where yi(t) is a component of i-th dimension of time t of a time sequence signal Y of p dimension of a time length T, ai,k is a component of i-th row and k-th column of a space matrix A of p×m, a component of k-th row and t-th column of a time function of m×T is fk(t), and 1=t1t2...tk...tm=T.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
