PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial rainfall apparatus for solving such problems that recently urban areas turn to desert through an increase in sensible heat of cars and buildings, in view of the fact that solar heat showers upon the earth to heat the earth, the land and the ocean, the moisture of the sea, river, lake and land is evaporated by solar heat to become rain, snow, and fog and drop on the earth surface, 97.4% of the water of the earth is in the sea, and rain, snow, and fog fall from the land to the sea, the desert occupies a quarter to one third of the land, and a wide area of the land comprises an arid region like desert, a steep mountain range, and a polar zone closed with ice.;SOLUTION: This artificial rainfall apparatus is such that the arid region of the earth has a great wide area, and an air washer is installed in the wide arid region, and seawater is sprayed with the air washer so as to wash and clean air in the arid region, give humidity, and make rain fall down, and global warming is prevented and an arid region is eliminated by making rain fall down on deserts.
