The invention relates to methods for measuring the intracellular quantity of a molecule of inherently fluorescent interest in cells, comprising the steps of: measuring the fluorescence of the cells whose intracellular quantity is desired to be known to said molecule of interest to the using a flow cytometer parameterized with the emission and absorption spectra of said molecule of interest, this fluorescence value being plotted on a correlation line between the fluorescence intensity and the intracellular concentration of said molecule of interest, and read the intracellular quantity in molecule of interest. The invention also relates to the applications of these methods.
