Bowstring bridge end supporting device for use during construction of Bowstring bridge, has anchoring blocks made of anti-corrosion material i.e. concrete, where each block has support face that supports end of arch of Bowstring bridge
The device has parallelepiped anchoring blocks (1, 2) made of anti-corrosion material i.e. concrete. Each block has a set of cylindrical reserves (7) traversed by prestressing anchoring bars (8) projected above a front functional face (3) such that a tie rod's ends supporting against the front face are fixed to the bars. Each block has an arch support face (4) that is turned towards an interior of a Bowstring bridge, while making an angle with respect to a direction in which metal tie rods are extended. The support face supports an end of a metal arch of the Bowstring bridge. An independent claim is also included for a Bowstring bridge comprising a tie rod.
