Calibration data managing method for computer to control engine controller of internal combustion engine of motor vehicle, involves allocating multiple values to calibration data when calibration data is dependent on version of software
The method involves assigning calibration data (v1-vn) to a single function among multiple functions (fi-fs) in different types. The calibration data is classified according to its dependency on versions (1a-1c) of the software (1) and its dependency on the types of functions. A single value is allocated to a calibration data independent of the version of the software. Multiple values are allocated to the calibration data when the calibration data is dependent on the version of the software.
