Producing hardened steel plate component, by heating sheet steel plate or preformed/finish-formed steel plate component at necessary temperature for hardening and then inserting into tool, in which plate/steel plate component is hardened
The method comprises heating a sheet steel plate or a preformed or finish-formed steel plate component at a necessary temperature for hardening and subsequently inserting into a tool, in which the plate or the steel plate component is hardened, where the tool is disposed over the recesses flushable with gas for obtaining less hardening areas. The gas flush is carried out, so that gas cushion produces in the hardening areas, where the gas cushion reduces or excludes a cooling with a speed, which lies over a critical hardening speed. The recesses are flushed with a cooled or heated gas. The method comprises heating a sheet steel plate or a preformed or finish-formed steel plate component at a necessary temperature for hardening and subsequently inserting into a tool, in which the plate or the steel plate component is hardened, where the tool is disposed over the recesses flushable with gas for obtaining less hardening areas. The gas flush is carried out, so that gas cushion produces in the hardening areas, where the gas cushion reduces or excludes a cooling with a speed, which lies over a critical hardening speed. The recesses are flushed with a cooled or heated gas. Air or inert gas such as carbon dioxide or nitrogen is used for the gas flush. An independent claim is included for a device for hardening a steel plate component.
