Method for booting notebook in low temperature condition, involves reading low temperature event, and reducing output charge of charging components to activate components of computer system in low charging condition
The method involves activating heating element (143) of a hard disk (140) to warm the hard disk, when hard disk temperature is less than a pre-determined temperature. A determination is made whether the hard disk temperature has reached another pre-determined temperature. A computer system is activated, when the hard disk temperature has reached the latter temperature. Low temperature event is read before activation of charging components i.e. battery cells, of the system. Output charge of the charging components is reduced to activate components of the system in a low charging condition. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer system comprising a hard disk (2) a computer readable medium that is coded with computer executable instructions for booting a computer system in a low temperature condition.
