The arrangement (17) has a fiber laser/fiber amplifier (3) including a fiber with a laser active material. The fiber laser/fiber amplifier delivers laser radiations (9) at an output of the fiber. A solid body-laser amplifier (24) is arranged in proximity to the output in an axial direction, receives the laser radiations and a pumped radiation (5) and amplifies the laser radiations by a longitudinal pumped configuration. An amplifying crystal (10) e.g. neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet laser crystal, is anti-reflectively coated for the laser radiations at end surfaces.
