Drum cap for transfer cylinder, has casing unit made from flexible sheet material that is reinforced in sections such that casing unit forms rigid and flexible casing segments, where flexible segment is connected to rigid segment
The cap (1) has a connection device (3) for connecting the cap to a transfer cylinder (2), and a casing unit (4) for providing a casing surface (5) that is bulged at an outer side of the cap, where the connection device has a pivot mounting (6). The casing unit is made from a flexible sheet material that is reinforced in sections in such a manner that the casing unit forms a rigid casing segment (S1) and a flexible casing segment (S2). The flexible segment is positioned radial to an axis of the cylinder and connected to the rigid segment in a circumferential direction.
