PURPOSE: A sweet potato stick and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to obtain the original sweet taste and the flavor of sweet potatoes without using artificial seasonings by sprinkling organic sugar and to be used as a diet food.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a sweet potato stick comprises: a step(S1) of washing sweet potatoes; a step(S2) of manufacturing sweet potato shreds by cutting the washed sweet potatoes; a step(S3) of heating grapeseed oil at 100-120°C; a step(S4) of firstly frying the cut sweet potato shreds in the grapeseed oil for 8-12 minutes; a step(S5) of secondarily frying the sweet potato shreds in grapeseed oil of 150-170°C; a step(S6) of naturally cooling the fried sweet potato shreds; and a step(S7) of mixing 95-99 weight% of the cooled sweet potato shreds with 1-5 weight% of organic sugar.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
