PURPOSE: A method of regulating transcription of nuclear hormone receptors is provided to screen a therapeutic agent for disease relating to the nuclear hormone receptors.;CONSTITUTION: A gene encoding RFC3(replication factor C-3) protein of marine inverterbrate, its fragment, mutant, derivative, allele mutant or peptide therefrom is used in screening an agent which inhibits or enhances interaction between RFC3 protein and nuclear hormone receptors. The agent is a material which suppresses breast cancer cell differentiation. A method for detecting anti-cancer material comprises: a step of searching and isolating a material which promotes binding between retinoid X receptor and RFC3; and a step of measuring the activity to retinoid X receptor of isolated material and selecting an active material.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
