A method for assessing the balance of the vegetative provision of the patient with psychogenic dermatosis comprises the clinical examination using the special diagnostic assays. The variation and spectral analysis of the heart rhythm is performed according to rhythmography data. The variation range of the maximal amplitude of the heart rhythm and the specific weight of the modal cardiointervals are measured. Then the index of the vegetative balance is calculated as I=A/A, wherein index of the vegetative balance, specific weight of the modal cardiointervals, maximal amplitude of variations of heart rhythm. When 95105, the vegetative provision of the patient is considered as balanced and vice versa.
