PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve business efficiency by automatic the recoverable amount calculation processing for compensation claims.;SOLUTION: This device refers to a table holding information related to the compensation claims and calculates the recoverable amount of the compensation claims for each debtor by utilizing a memory area. Information related to the debtors of the compensation claims is registered in a debtor table, information related to the compensation claims is registered in a compensation claims table, information related to an object is registered in an object table, information related to the right of the object is registered in an object right table, the relationship between the object and the compensation claims is registered in an object index table, and information related to mortgage is registered in a mortgage set table. The order of a mortgage number for calculating a recoverable amount is decided by using a mortgage number expansion area on the basis of these pieces of information. The recoverable amount is next calculated for each mortgage by using a recoverable amount calculation area and a compensation claim balance area. A senior deduction in a senior deduction area is rewritten in accordance with the calculated recoverable amount. The recoverable amount calculated for each mortgage in the recoverable amount calculation area is stored in a mortgage set table and the total amount of the recoverable amounts is stored in a debtor table, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
