PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a seamless aluminum alloy tubular material which produces a tubular material with high dimensional precision from a mandrel extruded tube with high quality reliability at a low cost, and further, can produce a seamless aluminum alloy tubular material capable of obtaining characteristics equal to or above those of a porthole tube having the maximum tube expansion ratio of 70 to 80% and the total elongation of 14 to 15% at a thickness of 1 mm.;SOLUTION: A mandrel extruded tube of an aluminum alloy is subjected to first cold working at a reduction rate in cross section of ≥70% by a continuous drawing system, the obtained first drawn tube is subjected to solution treatment, is subsequently subjected to second cold working by drawing, and is thereafter subjected to artificial aging treatment as well.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
