摘要

The system has directional radio-beacons (6) transversely mounted side by side to a road surface part (3), and video cameras (7) i.e. infrared cameras, associated to the radio-beacons. Motor vehicle detection units i.e. laser detectors (5), are provided for detecting traffic of motor vehicles, and control units are constituted by a supervisor, a clock, a data comparison module , an alert module and a transaction processing module. The control units are arranged for coordinating and exploiting an operation of the detection units, the radio-beacons and the cameras in real time. An independent claim is also included for an electronic toll collection method for a motor vehicle with a toll plaza of a road surface presenting traffic lanes that are parallel and in a same direction.
