Orthodontic appliance positioning template for tooth of patient, has structure for receiving appliance on body so as to maintain appliance in position and orientation fixed with respect to body to bring surface for assembling appliance
The template (10) has an orthodontic appliance structure for receiving an orthodontic appliance under a form of an orthodontic support (30) on a template body (11) so as to maintain the appliance with a predefined configuration in a position and an orientation fixed with respect to the body for bringing a surface for assembling the appliance in contact with an assembling zone on a lingual or facial surface of a tooth (20) when the body is aligned on teeth with two template localization zones of the body in accordance with a contact with occlusal surface zones of the teeth. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for providing a set of templates placed on measurement to position orthodontic appliances on teeth of a patient (2) an apparatus for fabricating a template.
