Differential scanning calorimeter for measuring properties of materials, has thermal resistor coupled with measurement assembly and arranged outside region, and heat sink thermally coupled with thermal resistor and infrared reflectors
The calorimeter has a measurement assembly (1) to receive a sample, where the calorimeter includes an elongated silver coated cylinder with a sensor assembly (3). An infra-red lamp assembly is arranged circonfumferentially around the cylinder, and has infrared reflectors, which has a cavity (6) with length identical to length of the cylinder. A thermal resistor (4) is coupled with the assembly, and is arranged outside a region that is defined by the cavity. A heat sink is thermally coupled with the thermal resistor and the infrared reflectors. An independent claim is also included for a method for realizing a calorimeter.
