The unmanned monitoring and surveillance aircraft comprises a propeller (18) for driving the surveillance aircraft, a navigation, steering and regulation electronics, a power supply unit, a wheel away carriage with carriage brake, a multi-sensor unit, and a communication unit for data exchange with an aircraft base. The propeller is supported by a constant velocity joint, over an operating unit, to pivot on a propeller shaft aligned in the longitudinal direction (I) of the fuselage (12). An independent claim is included for a mobile aircraft basis for guiding an unmanned monitoring and surveillance aircraft.
