The method involves providing a cavitator-system with a cavitator-section (1) having parallely connected cavitators (1b), and determining minimum pressure decrease by the cavitator-section under consideration of characteristics e.g. temperature, of a fluid to be processed. A partial flow of fluid is supplied back from an end of the cavitator-section into a circular flow via a return passage (3) before beginning of the cavitator-section during falling of the pressure decrease. An independent claim is also included for a cavitator-system having a cavitator-section.
