The registration method involves detecting a raw data of the examining object by an imaging mode (1) in a detection area (15). The volume data set (20) is determined on the basis of the detected raw data. Another raw data similar to the former raw data is detected by the imaging mode. A detection device (2) is positioned for detecting the image data from the base of an image data set (21) in another detection area (15') of the imaging mode.
