PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable wireless terminal capable of starting a speech with a simple operation and to provide a speech start method and a speech start program.;SOLUTION: If a motor drive button 121 is depressed during reception of an incoming signal when an upper cover is closed for the foldable wireless terminal, a control section 155 depresses a motor 111 to open the upper cover. When an upper cover state detection section 157 detects that the upper cover is completely opened or a timer section 159 measures a prescribed time after the motor 111 is driven, the control section 155 stops the motor 111. Since the control section 155 makes speech connection processing to bring the wireless terminal to a speech state in response to an incoming signal, the speech can be started.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
