METHOD OF PRODUCING GRANULES CONTAINING NATURAL PRODUCTS DERIVED SUBSTANCE SUCH AS CHINESE ORTHODOX MEDICINE EXTRACTS, CRUDE DRUG EXTRACTS, AND EXTRACTS DERIVED FROM NATURAL SUBSTANCES, AND PRODUCING A TABLET IN USE OF SAID GRANULES
[Problems] A preparation such as granules or tablets produced by using amaterial ofa natural origin, for example, a Chinese orthodox medicine extract, a crudedrugextract or a natural material extract having been dried and powdered shows alongdisintegration time, has poor elution properties and largely differs in thebehavior inthe patient's body after dosing from decoctions or the like, though it is adesigned asinherently having a decoction, etc. as the fundamental component.[Means for solving problems] A method of producing granules characterized bycomprising adding to 100 parts by weight of a special calcium silicate, amaterial of anatural origin, which has been dispersed in a liquid or an aqueous solutioncontainingwater or an organic solvent, to give a solid content of 50 to 800 parts byweight,homogeneously mixing and dispersing by stirring the mixture, and thengranulatingthe mixture by further stirring until the loose bulk density attains 0.3 to0.8 g/ml.
