Application of extract of Cymbopogon nardus in the preparation of pharmaceutical compositions with Antifungal activity and the process of obtaining such extracts, as well as its use as active component of said compositions used in the treatment of fungal infections.This also relates to compositions containing Plant extract obtained from the aerial parts of a plant of the family of the Graminae with Antifungal activity. Preferably The Plant extract is obtained from the leaves of the plant. More preferably still Plant used is Cymbopogon nardus Rendle (L.).Claim 1: pharmaceutical compositions with Antifungal activity characterized by containing Plant extract of Cymbopogon nardus hydroalcoholic at concentrations ranging from 5 to 40% (W / W), and at least one Organic Solvent alcohol of C1 - 10, for use in the treatment of onicom Icosis, ringworm, candidiasis.Claim 5: pharmaceutical compositions according to claim 1 to 4 characterized by glycol glycol diacrylate as a reason for 0.5: 20, compared with the dry extract of Cymbopogon nardus.
