PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform at high speed, information search, division, coupling and addition in data transfer in a computer network.;SOLUTION: The present invention is applied to perform information search, division, coupling and addition by using: a first information description method which uses, as a symbol indicative of an index held by each element of information, symbols including numerals and characters or the like meaning the number of elements which are located at a terminal node rather than the element and include the terminal node; and a second information description method using, as a symbol indicative of an index held by each element of information, symbols including numerals and characters or the like meaning the sum of the number of elements which are located at a terminal node side rather than the element and include the terminal node, and positions indicating the number of elements.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
