PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a new sash frame without removing an existing sash frame at the time of replacing sash following rebuilding of a building, by constituting a sash frame for reforming, fitted to the existing sash frame, of a sash frame main body and fixed parts formed on the main body fixed to the existing sash frame. ;SOLUTION: A sash frame 1 for reforming, fixed to an existing sash frame 101 fitted to the opening part of a building, is constituted of a sash frame mainbody 10 and fixed parts 11b-13b formed on the main body 10 and fixed to the frame 101. Here the fixed parts 11b-13b preferably have platelike parts protruding outside the frame of the main body 10. Consequently in fitting the frame 1, it is eliminated that to remove a ceiling combining with the frame 101 and the external wall portion of the periphery of the frame 101, or an interior material such as an indoor window frame combining with an interior portion, and that to discharge the interior material as waste; and reducing trouble and labor needed for removing the interior material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
