PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support and provide user's encounters by improving the probability of encounters between users, especially between a male and a female, having similar interests and liking without making an encoutering party recognize important personal information in the initial stage of encounters, and thereafter making it possible to perform message exchange or the like through the Internet.;SOLUTION: An encounter support system is provided with: an encounter support apparatus 11 with a USB port which notifies respective users having similar interests/liking of the approach of these users and includes a history information storage part 11b for storing encounter information; PC terminals 102 used for respective users to transmit/receive encounter information, message information, etc. through the Internet ; and a member center 103 for executing the storage, management, etc. of a variety of information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
