The device has rails (7) including mobile rail sections (12) adjacent to an upstream/downstream fixed part (13). An electromagnetic or electropneumatic driving unit (17) drives the rail sections between transferring and removing positions. The rail sections are aligned with the fixed part to assure a continuity of the rails, when the sections are in the transferring position. The rail sections are misaligned with the fixed part to break the continuity of the rails, when the sections are in the removing position.
