The hydrostatic-mechanical continuous power-branching drive for vehicles has a drive shaft (12) which is connected both mechanically and via a hydrostatic pump unit (14) to a summation drive (20). The pump unit is connected by the sun wheel (24) of an epicyclic drive system to the drive shaft and via the planet carrier (26) and planet wheel (28) to the sun wheel (46) of the summation drive.
