Rail line's track-sided infrastructure positioning method, involves determining installation position of infrastructure depending on actual position of rail-bound vehicle i.e. train, and installation parameter, and storing position
The method involves determining a rail-sided installation position (4) of a track-sided infrastructure in dependence of a continuously determined actual position (2) of a rail-bound vehicle i.e. train, and predetermined installation parameter. The determined rail-sided installation position is stored in a digital card (5a). The installation parameter is selected in dependence of the track-sided infrastructure to be installed. The determined installation position is directly marked on the rail line. The actual position of the vehicle is determined by a satellite positioning system (1a). An independent claim is also included for a device for automatic positioning of a track-sided infrastructure of a rail line during a drive of a rail-bound vehicle.
