The system (2) has a determination unit determining conditions of an automation system (3), and a representation unit provided for virtual representation of a process/product unit (6) of the automation system. A supply device is provided for supplying of an immersive interaction process (5) such as virtual reality, and a memory stores profiles for a user (1). An allocation unit allocates a role to the user, where a function spectrum of a possible function is assigned to the role of the user through the interaction process. An independent claim is also included for a method for man-machine-interaction between the user and the automation system.
