A superhydrophobic coating film, and a method for forming the superhydrophobic coating film are provided to improve self-cleaning property and to allow a nanofiber comprising inorganic particles to be prepared relatively easily and massively. A superhydrophobic coating film comprises at least two kinds of inorganic particles having different diameter. Also the superhydrophobic coating film comprises at least two kinds of inorganic particles having different diameter which are dispersed in a polymer solution. Preferably the inorganic particles are selected from the group consisting of silica, titanium dioxide, alumina, ceria and zirconium oxide. Preferably the polymer of the polymer solution is selected from polyethylene oxide, polyacrylamide, poly(vinyl alcohol), polyethylene glycol, polyacrylonitrile, poly(vinyl pyrrolidone), polystyrene, polycaprolactone, and polyethylene terephthalate.
