The use of the technology of the artificial plugging of the pelvic reservoirs with the aid of the balloon-catheter for rehabilitating the patients with the impaired function of the pelvic sphincters has been proposed for the mechanical obturation of the cavities of the urinary bladder and the rectum. The technique provides for the insertion of the balloon-catheter to the cavities of the urinary bladder and the rectum. The balloon is inflated with the air or the physiologic saline plugging of the pelvic reservoirs. When necessary the intestinal gases or urine are let out through the openings in the catheters.
