The high thermodynamic efficiency motor vehicle drive has a liquefied e.g. air tank with an injector on the vehicle engine cylinder head. Also claimed is a process using the drive. CLAIMED PROCESS - The process applies air at -200 degrees C to a 10-100 MPa heat exchanger with simultaneous injection of fuel. EMBODIMENT - The heat exchanger is between the heat-insulated air tank and the injector, and the drive also incorporates control valves.
