The device construction is based on a multiatomizer with a modified inlet arm (1) into which a quartz capillary (2) is inserted. In the first step of the preconcentration procedure, a hydrogen-burning flame in excess oxygen is burned at the capillary outlet (2), which is located 50-100 mm from the optical tube (5). The section of the input arm (1) behind the flame serves as a very effective trap for the capture of decomposition products of the hybrid, whose temperature can be controlled within wide limits from room temperature. In the second step of the preconcentration procedure, the trapped analyte is loosely loosened and transported to a portion of the atomizing device.
