PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce design at an estimate design point of time at a manufacturing design point of time.;SOLUTION: The specifications to be designed are grouped, and a design generation symbol is imparted to generation constitution information in which a specification group generation symbol is imparted to each dimension group to make the design generation symbol correspond to the generation constitution information. This device is provided with: a file 5 for storing a generation constitution list in which the information is added at every time a design reference is revised, a design range list in which design range constitution information and a design range name combined with the specification group are associated/defined and a design specification list in which the specification group information where the specification group generation symbol and the specification information of the specification group and the specification group are made correspond to each other is added at every time the design reference is revised as design target categorized definition data; a collecting part 4c for collecting/acquiring and associating/arraying the specifications and the specification information from the list based on the design generation symbol and the design range name inputted by an input device 1; and a deciding part 4d for inputting a decision value, calculating undecided first specifications inputting the decided values and already decided values to undefined specifications to calculate second specifications and performing the calculation until all specifications are decided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
