Knot for linking e.g. float line and mounting yarn, has loop formed with lower parts of strands under another loop and introduced into latter loop, where end of former loop is separated from lower parts of strands to form knot
The knot has a loop formed with a line and comprising two strands connected at the tip of the loop. The strands are separated from one another at the base of the loop. The upper part of the loop is bent downwards, and the lower parts (34, 34`) of the strands are placed between the upper parts of the strands so as to form a loop (38). A third loop (40) is formed with the lower parts of the strands under the loop (38), and is introduced into the loop (38). An end (42) of the loop (40) is separated from the lower parts of the strands so as to form a knot. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for ensuring a link between a float or a ballast line and a mounting yarn (2) a float or a ballast line and a mounting yarn assembly comprising knots (3) a fishing net.
