Liquid medium e.g. beverage, individual constituents mixing proportion determining device for use in beverage industry, has evaluation unit finding proportion of constituents chemometrically based on measured and preset absorption spectrums
The device has a measuring cell (11) through which a liquid medium to be measured is supplied. A spectrometer (19) is provided for detecting an absorption spectrum of the medium to be measured. The output signal of the spectrometer is supplied to an evaluation unit that determines a mixing proportion of the individual constituents forming the medium chemometrically based on the measured absorption spectrum and a predetermined absorption spectrum of the medium.
