Data carrier for use on surface of cigarette packaging box, has surface section and scannable character arranged on section under application of Braille script codes and formed by coating that is provided above section
The data carrier has a surface section (1), and scannable character arranged on the surface section under application of Braille script-codes. The character is formed by coating that is provided above the surface section, where a planar part (2) is formed on the coating. The coating has a predetermined electrical charge and transparent characteristics. The coating has a medium formed as a lacquer. An isolating layer is provided between the coating and the surface and is made of plastic. An independent claim is also included for a reading device for application with a data carrier.
