Joint fastener is made of plastic material and equipped with reinforcing elements. It has a flat reinforcing body (11) stretching throughout the length of the joint strip (10) which is demonstrably harder then the material the joint strip is made of. The reinforcing body is made of at least two lengthwise running strips, or from several parallel lengthwise running strips. The width of the reinforcing body corresponds to the width of the joint fastener.
