The air conditioning ceiling (2) incorporates a phase changing material (PCM) and a cooling/heating conduit (3), both of which are in direct heat exchange contact with the ambiance, such as the room (1). In this way, buffer capacity is notably increased and a quicker reaction to temperature changes can occur. In consequence, the heat and cooling powers of cooling machines and boilers are remarkably reduced. Both the conduits and the PCM material can contribute directly to temperature control, whereby the PCM material provides a timewise delay at night. Furthermore, a second variant is provided with fresher external fresh air, which via the induction process provides for a secondary air circulation flow.
