Electrical machine e.g. synchronous electrical machine, for converting electrical energy into mechanical energy, has coil forming coil end, and end of stator or rotor formed differently with respect to center of stator or rotor
The machine has a coil forming a coil end in an axial direction at an end of a stator or rotor, where the end of the stator or the rotor is formed differently with respect to the center of the stator or the rotor. The end of the stator or rotor has a laminated core, and the center of the stator or the rotor has another laminated core, where the laminated cores are guided differently. The end of the stator or the rotor is designed such that the electrical resistance in a circumferential direction at the end of the stator or the rotor is larger than that in the centre of the stator or the rotor.
