Mattress for use with active anti-acoustic noise system, has control device controlling loudspeaker with primary acoustic wave in response to error signals, so that acoustic pressure is reduced in head region of mattress
The mattress has a control device (2), a loudspeaker (3) and a microphone, which is switched as an error sensor (4). The control device controls the loudspeaker with a primary acoustic wave (6) in response to error signals delivered from the error sensor, so that acoustic pressure is reduced in a head region of the mattress by overlapping a secondary acoustic wave (5) with the primary acoustic wave. The loudspeaker and the error sensor are arranged in the head region of the mattress, where the secondary acoustic waves are produced by the loudspeaker. An independent claim is also included for a method for reducing acoustic pressure in a mattress.
