摘要

The method involves continuously recording and filtering roadway friction coefficient and slippage that is obtained from a tires model and storing the coefficient and slippage in a memory during driving. A roadway condition is determined based on increase of roadway friction coefficient-/characteristics curves in a longitudinal direction (Rx) of tires. Adherence friction coefficient points that correspond to the roadway condition are determined with the information of the roadway condition, such that an operating area of the tires is determined.
